Harvest Festival 2022

by Kami No Michi / Thursday, 01 September 2022 / Published in Events

As usual every year in September the famous Harvest Festival of the Mumbuca Community, in Jalapão, Brazil, opens the golden grass harvesting work – which happens only once a year.

In the act of harvesting, the grass flowers are cut and thrown into the soil, thus ensuring that, in the following year, there will be a new production.

Our team was in the village and for 4 intense days recorded in images and interviews with the guardians of the golden grass. For the first time, spectators will be able to observe this moment that we consider to be a huge force and energy that moves our production of omamoris. The film is set to be released in November 2022, available in Portuguese, English and Japanese. If you would like to receive information about the release, please email us at contatotact@kaminomichi.com
